Healthcare is undergoing a transformative change driven by advances in molecular and cellular biology, biotechnology, artificial intelligence, computational science, biomedical engineering, and medical devices. Our mission is to provide high-quality education and cutting-edge research opportunities while nurturing the next generation of scientists, engineers, innovators, and entrepreneurs.

The School offers a range of academic programmes, including M.Sc. Biotechnology, M.Tech. Biomedical Engineering, M.Tech. Biomedical Devices, Ph.D. programmes, and the B.Tech. programme in Biomedical Engineering and Data Science. Our programmes aim to develop strong fundamentals while equipping students with the skills required to solve contemporary problems in healthcare. 

Our research encompasses diverse areas including molecular and cellular biology, computational biology, AI-enabled healthcare, biomedical signal and image processing, diagnostics, drug discovery, therapeutics, biomedical devices, biomaterials, tissue engineering, digital health, neural engineering, neuro robotics, and precision medicine. We strongly believe that transformative healthcare solutions emerge through collaboration across disciplines. Accordingly, we actively foster partnerships among scientists, engineers, clinicians, industry, and international research communities.
